Online tutoring with Combo Tutors happens over live video with screen sharing, one-to-one with your assigned tutor. Each session follows a lesson plan your tutor prepares in advance, built around your child's specific curriculum and current gaps. You need only a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, and no software installation is required.
Combo Tutors covers IB, A-Level, IGCSE and GCSE, plus standardised test preparation for the SAT, ACT and AP exams. Explore our IB tutors for curriculum-specific support. Our network includes 1,000+ UK-qualified or British examiner-trained tutors, so students following UK, US and international curricula can learn with a specialist who understands their syllabus.
Tutoring starts from $15 per hour, with the final rate depending on the subject, level and tutor experience. Our pricing page explains how rates are set. We offer pay-as-you-go sessions and discounted multi-lesson bundles, with no hidden fees or required long-term contracts.
Every tutor completes a four-stage vetting process: academic qualification verification, teaching or tutoring experience review, a live teaching demonstration and an enhanced background check such as DBS or the international equivalent. Around 15% of applicants are accepted into our network of 1,000+ tutors.

You can also contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp if you prefer to talk first.

Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice to be fully refunded or moved free of charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the session fee because that time was reserved for the tutor.
